Infection found possibly..

So it looks like his infection may be coming from his Hickman catheter. The last nurse that put his dressing on did a shitty job and I knew it!! Lyric is currently itching it while he is sleeping.. so I called in the nurses. They looked at it and its red, looks a little infected. The nurse who changed his bandage this morning did a culture on it so we are waiting on the results to see if that's the source of his fever.

    Dear Sarah.....its Debbie(Paul's cousin). I spoke to Blanche yesterday and she told me I could read your words on facebook, which led me to this blog(I didnt even know what a blog was till i saw Julie and Julia movie) haha I love reading your words and appreciate feeling connected to you guys. I believe EVERYTHING you are doing is right and am sure Lyric's good progress is a direct result of your care. I love the picture of you two together!! Thank you for writing so that we can help support you....we(Adam, Ang and Sylv and I) have been sending love and prayers since we heard last month. I am willing and able to clean your house, watch Avery, drive you somewhere, drive family to you, talk on phone, bring food...I dont care, just call. Love Debs P.S.
